Schwemmalm Ski Area
Just a few kilometres away lies the snow-sure Schwemmalm ski area, located above Kuppelwies on a sunny slope. With 27 kilometres of pistes, it offers ideal conditions for experienced skiers, while families also feel completely at home.
Thanks to the compact layout, parents can easily keep an overview. At the centre of the ski area you’ll find the ski school, the children’s ski kindergarten and a gentle practice slope – perfect for kids and beginners.
After an active day on the well-prepared slopes, traditional mountain huts invite you to relax, and those who wish can end the day with a bit of après-ski.
The ski bus stops only 100 metres from our holiday apartments and provides convenient transport to the valley station.

The panoramic cross-country trail in Ultental runs from Kuppelwies through St. Nicholas all the way to St. Gertraud in the Stelvio National Park. With a total length of 25 kilometres, it is popular with classic skiers and skaters alike.
The varied route is suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes, leading through snowy forests, across open meadows and past traditional alpine farms.
The new biathlon centre in Kuppelwies features a modern shooting range and a diverse track, usable both in winter and summer. Thanks to its innovative facilities, it is ideal for newcomers as well as professionals – a unique opportunity for anyone wishing to try or refine this exciting sport.
